Vietnam has visa-exemption agreements with a number of countries, with permitted stays varying by nationality and passport type.
Citizens of 12 countriesโincluding Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finlandโcurrently receive a 45-day visa exemption, subject to Vietnam's entry conditions. This policy is effective from March 15, 2025 through March 14, 2028.
Philippine ordinary passport holders are currently listed as visa-exempt for stays of up to 21 days.
